Borash qualifies for 1,500 final to pace SMU

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Peter Borash (Bowlus, Minn.) — competing in the final MIAC championships of his collegiate career — raced to a time of 4:03.07 in the 1,500 preliminaries Friday to earn a spot in Saturday's final. Borash outkicked St. Olaf's Michael Roth in the first of the two 1,500 heats and heads into Saturday boasting the top time in the 12-person final field.
